Scottish pensioner killed in crash at border with England
A pensioner has died after a crash on the A68 near the Scottish border, Police Scotland have confirmed.
The 72-year-old man was riding a Honda motorbike near Carter Bar on the border, when it collided with a Renault Traffic van at 4:10pm on Tuesday, July 28.
Officers said he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Inspector Brenda Sinclair, of Police Scotland's Road Policing Unit, said: "Our thoughts are with the man's family and friends at this time."We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances and would urge anyone with information who has not already spoken to police to make contact."Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 2174 of 28 July."
