Road rage attack near Drem train station leaves man injured
The 59-year-old suffered what were described as “serious” injuries when he was attacked on Sunday.
Police say he suffered wounds to his face in the incident near Drem train station in East Lothian around 2pm.

Hide AdIt happened on the B1377 road and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
They said the man was driving his blue Land Rover Discovery vehicle towards East Fortune when a grey Volkswagen Golf approached from the opposite direction travelling towards Drem.
Both drivers got out their cars and the 59-year-old was assaulted.
He was treated at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary before being released.

Hide AdThe suspect was described as a white male, aged around 35-years-old, 5ft 9ins tall, of stocky build with short brown hair. He was described as wearing a grey t-shirt and blue jeans and spoke with a local accent.
Chief Inspector Matt Paden said: “Road rage incidents are unacceptable and thankfully rare in East Lothian, nevertheless we are treating this incident seriously.”
