Pollok: Man taken to hospital after being attacked by two men who broke into his house in Glasgow

A 25-year-old has been attacked after two men broke into a his home in Pollok.

Police in Glasgow are appealing for information after the incident on Meiklerig Crescent around 3am on Tuesday, March 30.

The two unidentified men forced entry into the property and attacked the occupant with a ‘bladed item’.

The two men, who were both dressed in dark clothing, also smashed windows at the property before leaving eastwards on Meiklerig Crescent.

Detective Constable Paul Hendry of Govan Police Station said: "Our enquiries into the is incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have seen or heard anything to get in touch.

"We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage from around the time of the incident.

"If you can help then please call 101, quoting incident 0321 of 30 March, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
