Police respond to major incident in Inverness

One witness reported seeing 10 police cars and five ambulances at the scene.

A block of flats in Hilton, Inverness, was the epicentre of a major police incident last night, according to a report in the Inverness Courier.

It is thought that more than 10 police cars and five ambulances were at the scene on Balloan Road, opposite Grey Friars Church at around 11pm last night.

Witnesses said multiple people were injured in the incident, with one woman reported to have been rushed away in an ambulance.
