Police release CCTV image of man following assault of woman in Glasgow

Police in Glasgow have issued an image from CCTV footage of a man they believe may be able to assist their enquiries after an 18-year-old woman was assaulted in Glasgow City Centre on Wednesday August, 26.

The incident took place around 8.10 pm on Gordon Street, near to Union Street in the centre of Glasgow.

The police say that the woman was not injured but was left upset by what happened.

The man in the image is described as white, between 25 and 40 years of age and had short dark hair.

He was wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans and black t-shirt.

Constable David Moffat from Baird Street Police Station said: “I am appealing to anyone who may recognise the man in the image to contact police at Baird Street via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 3453 of 26 August, 2020. Alternatively, calls can be made anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
