Police release CCTV appeal after woman assaulted in Glasgow

Officers said the man in the CCTV may have information that could help their investigation.

Police in Glasgow have now released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the assault of a woman on Broomielaw in Glasgow.

The woman was assaulted on the main road close to its junction with Brown Street at around 8pm on Monday, 2 March, 2020.

The man in the CCTV images is around 5’4” tall, with a slim build and black curly hair.

He was wearing glasses, a camouflaged bomber style jacket and black jeans.

Detective Constable Rachel Hopkirk, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: "The woman was uninjured but was understandably shaken as a result of this incident. We believe the man in the images may have information that could assist our investigation.

"Anyone who recognises him or who has any information which could help our enquiries, is asked to call 101, quoting incident 0012 of 3 March, 2020, or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
