Police appeal after teenage girl raped in Glasgow park

Police in Glasgow have launched an investigation after a teenage girl was raped in a park.

An 18-year-old woman was attacked in the early hours of Friday morning at Festival Park, Pacific Quay, police said.

A spokesperson said: “Police are carrying out enquiries in the Festival Park area, Pacific Quay, Glasgow following a report of a serious sexual assault on an 18-year-old woman on Friday, 19 February, 2021 around 1.30 am.

“Enquiries are at a very early stage and ongoing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.”
