Murder inquiry launched after flat disturbance

Police have launched a murder inquiry after a man died following a disturbance in his flat.

Christopher Graham, 22, was found seriously injured following the incident at the property in Morven Road, Cambuslang, South Lanarkshire.

He was taken by ambulance to Hairmyres hospital in East Kilbride, where he died a short time later.

Strathclyde Police appealed for information about the incident which happened at around midnight on Tuesday.

Officers are following a positive line of inquiry.

Detective Chief Inspector Louise Raphael said: “Morven Road is a residential area and I would appeal for anyone in the general area around midnight on Tuesday October 4 into Wednesday October 5 to come forward.

“It is possible that someone may have heard a disturbance or have information that will help us with our enquiry.”
