Man facing court in Inverness on murder charge after woman's death in Drumnadrochit

A man has been charged with murder after the death of a woman in the Highlands.

Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with the death, which is being treated as murder.

The 33 year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of a 66 year-old woman in Culnakirk, Drumnadrochit, on the western bank of Loch Ness.

Officers were called to an address in the area at around 3.40pm on Monday, 7 December.

Police say that the death is being treated as murder.

The man is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court tomorrow.
