Man charged with attempted murder

A MAN has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a violent incident in West Lothian.

Lee Houston, 21, made no plea during a private hearing at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday. He was accused of assault to severe injury, impairment, disfigurement and danger of life.

Houston, from Bathgate, was remanded in custody.
