Man arrested following assault and abduction in Paisley

A man has been arrested in connection with an abduction and assault which took place in Paisley last week.

At around 9.25pm on Thursday, December 2, Police Scotland received a report that three people had been assaulted by a group of men on Broomlands Street at the junction to Maxwellton Street in Paisley.

The incident continued on Baljaffray Road in Glasgow.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, December 6, 2021.
