Anderson Strathern has become the first law firm in Scotland to secure a twin gold standard from Investors in People (IIP).

Along with its gold IIP accreditation, which it has held since 2011, the practice has now secured the same Investors in Young People (IIYP) accolade – making it one of only six Scottish organisations to achieve the double.

IIP Scotland chief executive Peter Russian said: “To achieve the Investors in People gold accreditation or the Investors in Young People gold accreditation is a fabulous achievement its own right. But to accomplish both is a real testament to the commitment that Anderson Strathern has to its people.”

Anderson Strathern, which has offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Haddington, last month said it was on the look-out for more acquisitions as it reported a rise in annual profits.

Chairman Robert Carr said: “I am incredibly proud to lead a team of really great people. Anderson Strathern has always valued the input of every one of its people.

“It has reaped the rewards of investing in them to maximise their potential and make the firm the success it is today.”
