“While it’s not new for us to be advising on Scotland and the UK’s relationship with the EU, we feel the fast-changing landscape warrants a dedicated team who regularly meet to discuss implications and put a plan of action in place.”

The team also includes Anderson Strathern chairman Robert Carr, who said: “The outcome of the UK’s recent referendum on EU membership is making waves across the business scene and looks like it will continue to do so for the considerable future.

“For that reason, and in response to demand from our client base, we have set up a dedicated executive team made up of partners and experts from across the firm to keep abreast of latest developments and to consider the risks and opportunities inherent to a complex, international regulatory process like the one now in hand. As a full-service law firm we are ideally placed to advise every sector and across all client bases from private clients to businesses and commercial clients and also the public sector.”
