Human remains found in Argyll and Bute confirmed as missing man Tony Parsons
Mr Parsons travelled from his home in Tillicoultry, Stirlingshire, on Friday, September, 29, 2017, to Fort William, with the intention of returning home by bicycle.
He was reported missing on Monday, October, 2, 2017.
He travelled south on the A82 and was last seen around 11.30pm that Friday night outside the Bridge of Orchy Hotel.

Hide AdOn Tuesday, January, 12, 2021, specialist search officers, supported by forensic scientists, discovered his remains in a remote area of ground close to a farm near the A82 at Bridge of Orchy.
Mr Parsons’ body has now been recovered by the police and a post mortem examination will be carried out in the coming days.
Two men, both aged 29, were arrested on December 30, 2020, and later released pending further enquiries in connection with Mr Parsons’ disappearance.
The inquiry is being led by detectives from Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Team, supporting local officers.
