High value credit card fraud in Glasgow leads to police appeal

CCTV footage of a man has been released in relation to the case

Police have appealed for help tracing a man after a high value credit card fraud in Glasgow.

A man purchased goods in the city centre of Glasgow using a stolen credit card last July and the police are eager to trace a man seen on the CCTV released.

He is described as a white male, aged around 18 to 21 years old, slim built with short, fair hair and wearing a green Parka coat with a fur trim and a white shirt.

Detective Constable Mark Soutter of Glasgow CID said: “This has been a high value fraud, whereby goods have been obtained by deception.

“As part of our ongoing inquiries we’re eager to identify and trace the man pictured and would ask anyone who can help us to get in touch as soon as possible.”
