Greg Binnie, 19, already suspended by the college pending the outcome of an internal investigation, yesterday pleaded guilty to running at and making offensive gestures towards Rangers’ goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.
A spokesman for the college said its own investigation had now concluded but the hearing to determine any disciplinary taken will not be held until next week.

The court heard Binnie climbed over fencing and entered the field of play after the final whistle went in Hibs’ historic 3-2 win. He ran at Foderingham and gestured in an offensive manner.
Procurator fiscal depute Kathleen O’Donnell had told the court that Binnie had no previous convictions and said she would be asking for a football banning order to be imposed on him.
Defence lawyer Joe Murphy also revealed that Mr Binnie and his family have received threats and he was “deeply ashamed” of his behaviour.
The case has been deferred until next month and Binnie was granted bail.
