Granville Street: Police close street after unexplained sudden death in Glasgow

Emergency services has closed off Granville Street after responding to a report of a sudden death.

They attended the call at around 4.30am on Wednesday, April 28.

A 55-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His death is currently being treated as unexplained, though police say enquiries are at an early stage.

The road is currently closed at North Street into Berkeley Street and at Sauchiehall Street into Granville Street.

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0287 of April 28.
