Glasgow stabbings: one victim leaves hospital

Six people were injured when Badreddin Abedlla Adam attacked the Park Inn Hotel on Friday.

A victim of the Glasgow stabbings on Friday has been discharged from hospital, Police Scotland have confirmed.

Badreddin Abedlla Adam stabbed six people at the Park Inn Hotel on West George Street in Glasgow on Friday, where he had been staying along with other asylum seekers.

The 28-year-old from Sudan was shot and killed by armed police at the scene.

Police Scotland have now confirmed that one person injured in the attack has been discharged from hospital after treatment.

But, they said, another victim remains in a critical but stable condition.

PC David White, and the four other stabbing victims are said to be in a stable condition in hospital.

Alongside the police officer, three of Badreddin Abedlla Adam’s victims were asylum seekers staying in the same hotel, and the two others were members of the staff.
