Glasgow police seize paintball guns after ‘shooting’ in Harbour Terraces
Armed police have seized a set of paintball guns from a property in Glasgow.
Specialist firearms officers were called at 8pm on Thursday after police received a report of a group of men firing a gun from a balcony in Harbour Terraces on the banks of the River Clyde.

Hide AdBut the weapons turned out to be paintball guns, which fire plastic-casings filled with paint using pressurised air.
Police have seized the paintball guns and three men, aged 21, 22 and 22, were spoken to by officers at the scene.
They said no one was injured in the incident.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We received a report of men firing a gun on a balcony at Harbour Terraces, Glasgow, around 8pm on Thursday, 9 July.
“Officers attended, including specialist firearms officers, and inquiries were carried out to establish the circumstances.
“Three men – aged 21, 22 and 22 – were spoken to. Paintball guns were seized and will be forensically examined.
“Nobody was injured and inquiries are ongoing.”
