First photo of 16-year-old who died in the water at Pollok Country Park released

Police said there were “no apparent suspicious circumstances” surrounding his death.

Police in Glasgow have named a 16-year-old who died at the Pollok Country Park yesterday evening.

This afternoon they released a photo of Saif Mohammed, who was pulled from the water by emergency services at around 5:10pm on Tuesday, June 30.

Officers said there were “no suspicious circumstances” surrounding the teenager’s death, adding that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
