Crackdown on uninsured drivers

Police across Scotland have started a crackdown on uninsured drivers.

All eight forces are taking part in the three-day action co-ordinated by the Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland.

Police will used the latest technology to trace cars of uninsured drivers, who are responsible for 160 deaths in the UK each year, and have the power to seize the vehicles.
