Court appearance for murder accused

A MAN has appeared in court charged with murdering an elderly woman.

Kathleen Milward, 87, was found dead at her Lanarkshire home on 3 January.

Garry Kane, 40, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court where he made no plea and was remanded in custody.
