Celtic Park: Police discourage planned protest outside a football stadium as it breaches level four restrictions
Police Scotland has said that they are aware of the protest planned for Sunday, December 6 and will be policing the event.
Chief Superintendent Mark Sutherland, Greater Glasgow Division, said: "We are aware of a proposed demonstration outside Celtic Park on Sunday, 6 December, 2020 and would urge people to find alternative ways to protest, such as online, to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Hide Ad"The Scottish Government regulations are quite clear that these types of protest are prohibited in areas under level four restrictions.
"Officers will continue to police these types of event using the 4Es approach of engaging with those taking part and explaining the restrictions in place to save lives.
“Our response will be measured and appropriate but we will use enforcement where required."
A 22-year old man was arrested after scenes of violence shocked the country on Sunday, November 29 when fans reacted to Celtic losing 2-0 to Ross County.
Celtic supports protested outside the stadium after the game, during which saw three police offices injured.
Humza Yousaf, Scotland’s Justice Secretary described the scenes as "utterly disgraceful" adding: "Officers have been front and centre keeping us safe during this pandemic, to treat them this way at any time is shameful.”
"To do it during these times is a disgrace."
Celtic FC released a statement saying that they would be “investigating these events fully” adding "there can be no excuse for some of the violent scenes at Celtic Park this evening".
