Bishopbriggs assault: Teenager sought by police to aid investigation after man and woman hospitalised in assault

A picture has been released of a teenager who is thought to be able to help police with an investigation into an assault in Glasgow.

The incident took place near to Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs at the entrance to the Triangle shopping precinct at around 5.50pm on September 27 last year.

A male and a female required hospital treatment, and police are keen to trace the teenager pictured as they believe he may have information that could assist with enquiries.

The male is described as being 14-16 years of age and medium build.

He can be seen to be wearing a dark hooded jacket and dark jogging trousers.

Detective Constable Steven Gault said: “I would appeal to anyone who recognises the male in the image, or for the male himself to contact police as it is important he be spoken to as part of our investigation as he may have information that can help."
