Appeal for witnesses after teenager killed in Glasgow collision

Officers were called to the incident, near to the junction of Garscadden Road South, around 7.45pm after reports a pedestrian had been hit by a grey Ford Focus.

The teenager was taken to The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where she passed away.

Sergeant Grant MacIver said they are looking to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and urging people to get in touch if they saw anything.

He said: “A young girl has lost her life and our thoughts are with her family and friends.

"We are looking to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or has CCTV or dash-cam footage to get in touch via 101 quoting incident number 3177 of 5 December."
