A man has been arrested after a series of incidents in Fort William including vandalism and wilful fire raising

A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with three incidents which took place in Fort William on Monday.

The incidents on March, 15, include vandalism, wilful fire-raising and breaking-in.

At aound 3.40am officers were called to a report of a vandalism at a house in Kilmallie Road where a window was smashed.

No one was injured in this incident.

Around 6am, officers received a report of a vehicle on fire Lochaber High School grounds, Camaghael, Fort William.

The fire was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

In the third incident, officers were called to a report of a break-in to Lochaber High around 7am on Monday morning.

The man charged with all of these crimes is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Tuesday, March, 16.
