Cheers! Simpsons are coming back

Raise a can of Duff's beer! US network Fox says The Simpsons will be back next autumn for a 23rd season. That will bring the longest-running comedy on TV to a total of 515 episodes.

Since premiering in December 1989, The Simpsons was won 27 Emmy awards - and Homer has consumed an uncountable number of doughnuts and Duff's.
