Cat Extravaganza 2023: Glasgow SEC hosts huge event dedicated to all things feline

If you're a cat fan then we have the event for you.

A Cat Extravaganza is coming to Scotland in November.

Arriving at Glasgow's SEC venue this month, the Cat Extravaganza promises the chance to "discover a world of feline wonder at a family furr-iendly event".

It also aims to address the issues facing rescue cats, with a portion of all proceeds donated to helping cats in emergency rescue situations through The Meserve Foundation.

And the centre of attention will be an international cat show to identify the most beautiful moggies in town.

When is the Cat Extravaganza?

The event tales place at Glasgow's SEC venue on November 18 and 19. It will run from 10am-4pm each day.

Who is organising the Cat Extravaganza?

The event is oraganised by Loving Cats Worldwide, who describe themselves as "a crazy bunch of cat-crazed individuals doing our part to increase the visibility of all cats". The competition is the brainchild of renowned cat judge Steven Meserve.

Ticket bought in advance cost £25/£20 concession/£15 under-12/free under-5/£65 family (two adults and two children)

On the door tickets cost £30/£25 concession/£20 under-12/free under-5/£80 family (two adults and two children)

International Cat Competition

The most beautiful cats in the world will join under one roof to compete in an LCWW Competition for the ultimate prizes of Best Kitten, Best Cat, Best Alter and Best Household Pet.

Entries for the competition are now closed - and note that only cats entered into the competition will be permitted into the building.

The CatWalk

Cheer on the champions of the competition as they strut their stuff on the CatWalk.

Meet the Masters

Engage in conversations with exhibitors and renowned cat breeders. Gain insight into their expertise, learn fascinating facts about the feline world, and see their beautiful cats up close (please ask before touching!)
