Raigmore Hospital in Inverness shuts ward in third C diff scare

A HIGHLAND hospital has been forced to close a ward for the third time in nine months following a fresh string of cases of Clostridium difficile.

Raigmore Hospital, in Inverness, has taken action after three patients were diagnosed with the superbug in a week.
