Simpson & Marwick hires team

LEGAL firm Simpson & Marwick has poached four partners from rival Scottish practice MacRoberts to join its employment law team.

Stephen Miller, regarded as one of Scotland’s top experts in the field, Graham Mitchell, Gina Wilson and Frances Ross take up their posts today.

Sandy Kemp, solicitor advocate and partner at Simpson & Marwick, said: “We believe that this is the most significant development in the field of employment law in Scotland in recent years.

“Adding a combined 30 years of industry experience will significantly enhance the practice.

Miller said: “My colleagues who are joining Simpson & Marwick with me possess a great deal of experience across all areas of employment law working for large and small organisations across the public and private sectors.

All four will work from Simpson & Marwick’s Glasgow office.
