Scottish Hotels For Sale: Here are 11 on the market in Scotland - from village inns to country house hotels

If you’ve ever wondered how much it would cost to buy a hotel in Scotland, here’s a look at what’s currently up for sale, from the Borders to the Highlands.

With around 3.5 million visitors arriving in Scotland each year, it’s no surprise that there are so many hotels spread across the country.

Whether it’s a large country house hotel on the banks of a loch, or a tiny city centre historic inn, there is accommodation to suit all tastes.

Occasionally they appear on the market for sale so, if you've ever thought about owning your own hotel, here are 11 currently looking for new owners.

A three star traditional hotel in the tiny Borders village of Kirk Yetholm, the 18th century Border Hotel is handily placed at the finishing point of the Pennine Way, making it a haven for walkers. It has seven bedrooms, a bar, a restaurant, function areas and an outdoor terrace. It has an asking price of £575,000.

1. The Border Hotel - Kirk Yethom

A three star traditional hotel in the tiny Borders village of Kirk Yetholm, the 18th century Border Hotel is handily placed at the finishing point of the Pennine Way, making it a haven for walkers. The four-star hotel has 15 bedrooms and a variety of lounge, bar, function and restaurant areas. 2. The Roman Camp Hotel - Callander
