Printing firm Xeretec sees '˜surge' in demand

A printer equipment supplier is celebrating after beating its 2015 targets and securing contracts across the UK and Europe amounting to more than £2.4 million.

Xeretec Scotland, which took over North East Reprographics, said it installed 875 printers in commercial offices across Europe and offshore locations during the year.

It highlighted its Aberdeen office winning a four-year European-wide contract with a major oil company to supply more than 200 devices across 31 sites, with more to be installed this year, and its Glasgow office inking a “substantial” number of contracts.

Part of Xeretec Group, the largest Xerox reseller in western Europe, the firm also said it enhanced its helpdesk and invested in new software, with managing director John Sheran describing 2015 as “yet another successful year”.
