Porter’s Gin, a premium spirit developed by friends Ben Iravani, Josh Rennie, and Alex Lawrence, was launched in December and within a month its initial run of just over 3,300 bottles was sold out.

The gin has now been featured in Vogue magazine’s 100th anniversary issue, which has recently been published. It comes just two months after Porter’s made it onto the shelves of Harvey Nichols.

The founders of Porter’s have been working with Business Gateway Aberdeen City & Shire to promote the product since its launch.

Iravani said: “It’s been an incredible journey so far. It took us two years and we carried out hundreds of small scale distillations to perfect the flavour profile of Porter’s Gin but the response we’ve had has been fantastic, not just in the north-east of Scotland but throughout the country.”
