“Both Simon Community Scotland and HammondCare are each doing a herculean job to tackle the impact of Covid. Simon Community Scotland has helped over 2,500 people transform their lives at such a precarious time. HammondCare is providing crucial support for dementia carers.”

Simon Community Scotland’s chief executive, Lorraine McGrath, said: “Covid-19 has been devastating in so many ways, but I am very proud of what our employees, partners and volunteers have achieved in supporting over 2,500 people experiencing or at risk of homelessness during lockdown.”

Julie Christie, service manager international of HammondCare, said: “Perceptive has a solid understanding of the care market, which was extremely important as we needed to launch our new service quickly in response to the demands being placed on the sector and care home staff as a result of the pandemic.”
