Distribution deal just the tonic for gin maker NB

East Lothian drinks firm NB Gin is projecting a surge in sales after securing a deal with a business that specialises in distributing artisan spirits and beers.

Instil Drinks Company is taking on NB Gin, NB Gin Navy Strength and NB London Dry Citrus Vodka and will act as exclusive distribution agent for all three, focusing on England and Wales. The deal spans the on-trade and off-trade sectors, including wholesalers, restaurants, independent pubs and retailers.

The news comes as North Berwick-based NB said turnover was projected to break through £1 million in the next couple of years, thanks to a projected uplift in UK sales and exports. This would at least double its current turnover.

Vivienne Muir, chief executive of NB Gin, said: “Instil seeks out on-trend, authentic and distinctive products to fill the gaps where retailers and on-trade outlets need to differentiate themselves from their competitors.”
