Three Wise Monkeys Climbing is converting a disused church in Fort William into an indoor wall that will allow visitors and locals alike to climb when the notorious Highland weather is against them.

Founders Oliver Millington and Naomi Hatto have spent two years preparing the building for its change of use and saw their business plan endorsed at the recent “Dragons Glen” business pitching competition, scooping a £7,500 cash prize.

They are now launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise £40,000 in 28 days, using a “reward” model that allows supporters to pre-book offers such as lifetime membership of the climbing centre. An equity crowdfunding is planned for later in the year.
