Body discovered in Moray during search for missing Christine Thomson

The body of a woman has been discovered in the Keith area of Moray following searches for missing Christine Thomson.

Police Scotland issued an update on Tuesday evening saying that a body had been found.

The body is yet to be formally identified but police believe it to be Christine Thomson, 61, who had been reporting missing in the area.

Her next of kin have been informed.

Police also said that there are no apparent suspicious circumstances around the incident.
