Organisers of the Highland festival believe the group known to generations of youngsters will be as big a success as their headline performers, crooner Jones and indie rockers Razorlight.

Festival promoter Joe Gibbs said: “We are really thrilled to welcome The Singing Kettle to the show at last.

“We have a suspicion that today’s young‘uns will be joined by yesterday’s kids singing along to these guys on the Garden Stage.”

Belladrum sold out all weekend and Saturday tickets in record time in March, five months ahead of the event which takes place on 8 & 9 August.

Scottish rockers Frightened Rabbit return to the event as special guests, while Billy Bragg, Band of Skulls and I Am Kloot have also been added to the bill.
