Following a short trip to the Isle of Skye to film a music video for his latest single Waves, Kanye seemed to have left his mark on the Lochaber and Skye police who attempted to rival his rapping skills in a tweet.

The force issued a Kanye and Kardashian themed message asking for residents to drive safely, followed by the hashtag #HipHopcops.

The tweet received a mixed response with one user urging that they “delete the account immediately” while another congratulated them on “making me care about Kanye West in any way whatsoever for the first time in my life.”

Kanye, who is currently promoting his new album the Life of Pablo, stayed at the Skeabost House Hotel along with his entourage.

He rented out half of the venue’s 14 rooms and was described as “the perfect guest - charming, courteous and polite” by the owner, Anne Gracie.

She added: “We were delighted to offer him and his companions our usual Highland hospitality and would welcome him back any time.”
