One of the world’s biggest pop stars has announced a European Tour.

Sabrina Carpenter is set to head out on tour next year in support of her upcoming sixth studio album Short n’ Sweet.

The American singer, who first found fame starring in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World, recently became the youngest female artist to reach number one and two in the UK charts in the same week.

It shows how big she’s now become, having won an army of new fans after opening for Taylor Swift on a number of dates on her record-breaking Eras tour.

She’s set to play London, Manchester, Dublin and Birmingham on the UK and Ireland section of her tour and there’s good news for Scottish fans - with a gig in Glasgow.

Here’s what you need to know to bag a ticket.

Are there presales for Sabrina Carpenter’s Glasgow OVO Hydro gig?

As has become standard there are a bewildering number of ways to get tickets before they go on general sale.

OVO energy customers will be able to access tickets from Tuesday, July 23, at 10am via their account.

02 mobile phone customers will be able to access tickets on their Priority app from Wednesday, July 24, at 10am.

If you have preordered a copy of Carpenter’s album from her website you’ll be emailed a code to access a presale from Tuesday, July 23, at 10am.

But if you simply sign up to the artist’s newsletter here then you will be sent a presale code for access at 12noon on Tuesday, July 23.

Fans registered at Gigs in Scotland and Live Nation will be able to access tickets from 12noon on Thursday, July 25.

Are there age restrictions?

It’s over 14s only in the standing area and over 8s in the seated areas. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

How much are the tickets?

Tickets for the Dublin stop on the tour reportedly start at around £60, so expect around the same for Glasgow - with prices increasing depending on where you stand or sit. Expect top price tickets to be around £150 judging by similar gigs at the venue, although official prices have yet to be confirmed.

Sabrina Carpenter will be supported by Rachel Chinouriri at the Hydro.
