Kaiser Chiefs have enjoyed enormous critical and commercial success with a raft of best-selling albums and singles.

The band’s only gigs in the Highlands were during a mini-tour in 2008 when they sold out two nights in Strathpeffer Pavilion in ten minutes.

The Proclaimers have already been announced as the headliner of the festival’s new third day main stage evening programme on the Thursday.

The Friday headliners are still to be announced alongside 100 other acts.

Glasgow singer Eddi Reader will play the Friday night also.

She is joined on the bill by Glasgow indie band Honeyblood and songstress KLOË plus Highland favourites Scooty & The Skyhooks.
