Meet three makers who will be at Ideal Home Show Scotland’s first ever Small Biz Village

I Do Handmade is working with The Ideal Home Show Scotland, to host The Small Biz Village, for the first time in the show’s history. From May 24 to 27 at the SEC in Glasgow, shoppers can discover up to 24 different handmade brands. Meet three small business brands who will be popping up at The Small Biz Village

Highland Fairy Doors was founded by Lorna and her dear dad in 2012. Her dad did all the woodwork and Lorna ‘made them pretty’. Sadly Lorna lost her dad but she wanted to continue to live on his legacy but had no idea how to use the woodworking tools. But in September 2020 Lorna made her first cottage and advertised it on Facebook and the local community went wild for them. One has even been ordered and sent to the jungle in the Conga!

Leon Luxury saw a clear gap in the market for skincare that can be luxurious, eco-friendly whilst helping those with sensitive and problem skin, so created a range of products to solve the problem.

Scrunch Eco Wrap, founded by mother and daughter duo Julie and Eleanor who got fed up with being unable to recycle Christmas wrap each year, so created her own beautifully designed, planet-friendly gift wrap made of newspaper.
