Former It girl Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has passed away, aged 45.

She was found dead at her London home earlier today after battling a brain tumour since January 2016.

She only recently opened up about her secret year-long battle with the illness.

Ms Palmer-Tomkinson is the god child of Prince Charles, making headlines during her lifetime for her party-going lifestyle.

She is better known for reality TV appearances, such as I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
