Susan Boyle backs Scottish First Aid charity

SCOTTISH singing sensation Susan Boyle has shown her support for a Scottish First Aid charity’s latest appeal.

The singer was on hand to help St. Andrews First Aid with their Scottish First Aid raffle in Glasgow where she pledged her support for the charity’s ‘Count Me In’ campaign.

The Charity is aiming to reduce the number of people visiting hospitals with injuries they could treat themselves.

Head of Marketing and Fundraising for St. Andrews First Aid, Helen Forrest said: “Having the support of a Scottish icon such as Susan Boyle allows us to further highlight the importance of knowing First Aid and that together we can save lives.”

Boyle’s involvement follow the news that the Britain’s Got Talent Star has been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome. She has received praise for her bravery in revealing her diagnosis.

After appearing on Britain’s got Talent in 2009, her first album ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ went on to become the best selling debut of all time.
