Sir Chris Hoy’s wife tells of son’s early arrival
SARRA Kemp, wife of Olympic cyclist Sir Chris Hoy, has written about how after their baby son, Callum, was born at only 29 weeks old she felt the urge to tell everyone what had happened – despite the couple being essentially private people.
Ms Kemp, a lawyer, wrote a blog which was picked up by the Scottish Book Trust and entered as a contender for its Journeys campaign collection of stories. A few months after Callum’s birth in October 2014 she wrote: “I find it hard not to shout ‘I’ve had a premature baby’ at traffic wardens”
