Outlander star Sam Heughan launches 2016 My Peak Challenge

OUTLANDER actor Sam Heughan officially launched his My Peak Challenge 2016 campaign today.

The main aim of the campaign is to encourage individuals from all walks of life to reach their peak - from physical challenges to learning new skills. Challenges should be carried out during the month of May.

My Peak Challenge (MPC) is the brainchild of Outlander actor Sam Heughan and it is in support of blood cancer charity Bloodwise.

Heughan said: “I had this idea while working in Scotland. I love walking, climbing and being outdoors and I wanted to share that passion with all the friends and fans.

“There will be even more surprises in the future but for now I challenge you to make the first step with us and sign up today!”

The idea is that if you do something as a group, you’ll challenge each other to see it through.

There is an option to sign up to a fitness prep program, for those wanting to complete a physical challenge.

The support pack contains more than three hours of exclusive video footage of Sam Heughan – produced specifically for the MPC Prep Program; a comprehensive and progressive expert­ designed 60­ day training program; video of all exercises to ensure you achieve proper form; advice on how to scale the exercises to prevent injury; a full 60­ day nutrition plan to complement the training program; a meal plan and grocery list; access to a private forum, where you can get support from fellow MPC Prep Program participants — and Sam, John and the rest of the MPC team.

As well as a mobile journal to help you monitor your progress and record and share your thoughts, successes and challenges.

This year’s MPC supporter pack, priced at £30, includes a limited edition T-Shirt, exclusive signed Sam Heughan print, wristband, sticker, badge and comes packaged in a specially designed gift box All profits from the pack will go directly to Bloodline.
