Kim Kardashian 'files for divorce' from Kanye West

Kim Kardashian has reportedly filed for divorce from Kanye West after seven years of marriage.

It is understood The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star filed the papers in Los Angeles Superior Court Friday through her lawyer Laura Wasser, and is asking for “joint legal custody” of the celebrity pair’s four children.

Rumours about West, 43, and Kardashian, 40, divorcing had been circulating for months prior to today’s news, with Page Six reporting in January that a divorce was “imminent”.

The TV celebrity and rapper, who share children North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, one, first started dating in April 2012.
