Kevin Bridges turns down PM St Andrew’s Day invite

GLASGOW comedian Kevin Bridges has turned down an invitation from the Prime Minister to attend Downing Street on St Andrew’s Day.

The 26-year-old received the invite from Prime Minister on Thursday to attend a reception to celebrate St. Andrew’s Day on Thursday 28th November.

The star tweeted the picture with the caption: “Got this through the door today, my heart is saying “f*** that” and my head is saying “Aye, f*** that.”

The official invite said: “The Prime Minister requests the pleasure of the company of Mr Kevin Bridges at a reception to celebrate St. Andrews Day.”

The invite said the event was also to celebrate “the contribution that Scotland makes to the United Kingdom and to the wider world.”

Tom Peck said: “I can lend you a suit if you need?”

Barrowman Ballroom said: “Perhaps we should all RSVP to the email address at the bottom.”

Former Prime Minister Tony Blair, invited Oasis manager Alan McGee and guitarist Noel Gallagher to 10 Downing Street in what was criticised in some quarters as a desperate bid to improve his image.
