Ivana joins the Big Brother house

MILLIONAIRE socialite Ivana Trump became a surprise addition to the Celebrity Big Brother house last night.

The former Olympic skier is most famous for winning a multimillion-dollar divorce settlement from her property magnate ex-husband Donald Trump in 1992.

Trump, 60, who has her own clothes, beauty and jewellery lines, is the 12th celebrity to enter the house.

She appeared to housemates during their live variety show, which they were told they had to put together yesterday. Show bosses said Trump may ruffle a few feathers when she finds out there is no spare bed for her.

Housemates have spent some of the week in the house speculating on whether they would be joined by a new face as the dining room table has 12 chairs.

Tenko actress Stephanie Beacham had said: "I think someone really, truly troublesome will come in next. I'm sure I could be expected to be more troublesome than I am."

They were distracted from the topic yesterday, however, after being told to prepare for the live show.

Alex Reid, the cage-fighting boyfriend of glamour model Katie Price, who has been photographed in women's clothes as alter-ego Roxanne, was told he had to pair up with singer Dane Bowers to sing Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan's 1988 hit Especially For You.

Former madam Heidi Fleiss, DJ Jonas Altberg, glamour model Nicola Tappenden – known as Nicola T – and Ronnie Wood's ex-girlfriend Katia Ivanova were told they would be performing a can-can routine. Singer Sisqo was told by Big Brother to be a magician, with rapper Lady Sovereign as his "glamorous assistant".

Beacham had to prepare a stand-up comedy routine, while ex-footballer Vinnie Jones had to make up a ventriloquist act, with actor Stephen Baldwin playing the part of the doll.
