Cody Johnson self-released his first album Black and White Label in 2006, starting a long climb to the top of country music.

His breakthrough came ten years later in 2016 when his sixth self-released album Gotta Be Me debuted at number two on the Country Music Chart.

That led to a major label deal and four more successful albums, most recently Banks of the Trinity which ws released earlier this year.

His song Til You Can't won two awards at the Country Music Association Awards, with album Leather winning the 2024 Country Music Awards Album of the Year.

He’s currently in the middle of his biggest ever European tour and there’s good news for Scottish fans - with a date in Glasgow.

Cody Johnson has announced two support acts for his Glasgow gig. First up will be American country singer-songwriter Emily Ann Roberts who was a contestant on the American version of talent show The Voice. Next on stage will be Texas country star Parker McCollum.

What are the stage times for Cody Johnson in Glasgow?

Doors open at 6pm, with Emily Ann Roberts taking to the stage at around 7pm. There are no further official stage times but, judging from similar gigs, expect Parker McCollum to follow at between 7.40pm and 8pm, with Cody Johnson’s set starting at around 9pm. The show will finish by 10.50pm at the latest (but probably closer to 10.30pm).
